Hannah Erickson graduated from the Aveda Institute Denver in 2015. The beginning of her career had a focus on the editorial scene. She worked photoshoots and events such as Denver and Aspen fashion week. Later in 2015, Hannah moved to San Diego, where she landed head hairstylist of a published tutorial book on how to style curly hair called Curls, Curls, Curls. She assisted a master stylist in La Jolla for 1 year where she learned the foundation of being a successful stylist. After assisting, she went through an intensive precision haircutting apprenticeship for the following year that persisted in 2 haircutting models per day. During this course, she learned about the anatomy of the face, and appropriate hair cutting techniques for different kinds of bone structures. Hannah has trained with Aveda, Davines, Toni and Guy, and Vidal Sassoon. She specializes in precision haircutting and lived in low-maintenance hair color. She has taught haircutting classes at City College and has published work in SD Voyager Magazine and Urban Outfitters. Her favorite part about being involved in the beauty industry is connecting with clients and making them look and feel like the best version of themself.
